The latest edition of China Reflections is the first of two reviewing the rapid market and external changes in China that are generating higher risk profiles, coupled with the internal factors that make companies susceptible and compliance challenging.
The newsletter provides commentaries in three articles covering:
a. An overview of the challenges for companies operating in China and why there is a proliferation of crises, impacting operations and reputations,
b. Over recent years the rapid growth of trade disputes, whether as WTO or anti-dumping cases, and their potential to affect companies directly or indirectly. With U.S. elections, the EU under stress and an impending change of leadership in China, trade rhetoric and disputes can be expected to continue.
c. Increasing instances of commercial disputes and litigations.
